Principal of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidalaya Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen was honoured at 74th Republic Day ceremony organized by Distt. Administration. The award was presented by Honourable Governor of Punjab Sh. Banwari Lal Purohit. On this occasion, Sh. Vijay Kumar Janjua, IAS, Chief Secretary, Commissioner Smt. Gurpreet Sapra (IAS), ADGP Law and Order, Mr. Arpit Shukla, Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar S. Jaspreet Singh IAS and Commissioner of Police Mr. Kuldeep Chahal IPS were also present. Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen was honoured for her excellent contribution in the field of education and spreading environment consciousness among the students through extensive activities. These were the two points which were considered for this award. She is the only Principal amongst the colleges of Jalandhar to get this award. Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen thanked Distt. Administration for this honour. She said that HMV always strives for innovation, which is the need of the hour. Justice (Retd) Sh. N.K. Sud, Vice President DAVCMC and Chairman Local Committee and all the staff members of teaching and Non-teaching staff of the college congratulated her for this award.
