HMV is basking in the radiant glow of
a remarkable achievement as it clinched the National Overall General
Championship Trophy for the academic year 2022-23. This monumental win not only
symbolizes the college's commitment to nurturing talent, sportsmanship, and
holistic development among its students but also reaffirms its sterling
reputation for excellence in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.
In a spectacular display of prowess, HMV secured an impressive tally of 14
gold, 7 silver, and 8 bronze medals across a total of 29 games. This
outstanding performance is a testament to the relentless dedication and hard
work of the students, who have trained diligently under the guidance of their
coaches. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen expressed heartfelt gratitude
to Padmashree Dr. Punam Suri, President DAVCMC New Delhi, Vice-Chancellor Dr.
Jaspal Singh and Director of Sports at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Dr.
Kanwar Mandeep Singh Dhillon. Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Chancellor
congratulated HMV on recording the historic win. Furthermore, HMV College takes
immense pride in the achievements of five of its students: Harmilan, Radhika,
Seen, Kaveri, and Mayuri, who represented the nation in the Asian Games. Their
