A
Havan Yajna was performed to initiate
the new academic semester on a pious note in Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya.
The serene atmosphere of the Yajnashala was filled with the holy chants and the
incense. On this occasion Vice President DAVCMC and Chairman Local Advisory
Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud was also present on this occasion. Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and all members of HMV family circled around the
sacred Yajnakund and recited Shalokas and seek the blessings of the Almighty.
Principal Dr. Sareen extended a warm welcome to the HMV family in the new
year. She conveyed the blessings of
Padamshree Dr. Punam Suri Ji, President DAVCMC and reiterated his statement
that collective prayers are truly effective for the success of a task. Justice
Sud also congratulated HMV for all the achievements in previous year and gave
best wishes. On this year planner for the year 2024 and HMV News was also
released. The Music Department led by Dr. Prem Sagar, Mr. Praduman and talented
students graced the occasion with a melodious Bhajan. The Yajna and stage were
gracefully conducted by Dr. Meenu Talwar, Head of Sanskrit Department and Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, Dean Innovation and Research. The holy yajna saw the
participation of all the faculty and non-teaching staff of HMV.
