Di Lohri was celebrated by Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar in Hostel
under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Dr.
Ajay Sareen congratulated all the hostel members. She shared her views about
importance of girls in the family and Lohri Festival. The resident scholars
showcased their talent which was highly appreciated by Dr. Sareen. She
congratulated Coordinator resident scholars Dr. Meenu Talwar and her team for
wonderful programme. Dr. Meenu Talwar thanked Principal Dr. Sareen, who always
motivates for celebrating all festivals. The resident scholars presented Giddha
and Bhangra and set the mood of the occasion. In the end, Moongfali, Rewari and
Sweets were distributed among all the non-teaching staff members and students.
On this occasion, Dr. Sukhjeet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur, Jasbir Kaur and Mrs. Jyoti
were also present.
