Splashed with the colours of a variety of stalls and the vibrant garbs of
the students, the much awaited annual fete Trade Fair - Fiesta 2024 was
organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on Sunday, March 3, 2024 under the
dynamic guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and with the
blessings of Justice (Retd.) N.K. Sud, Vice President, DAVCMC and Chairman
Local Committee. The chief guest of the inaugural event Mrs. Neeru Rajinder
Kapoor, JMP Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, Jalandhar was accorded a floral welcome by
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen. The Fiesta began with mangal tilak and lighting of
lamp to evoke the blessings of the Almighty. In her address, Principal Dr. Ajay
Sareen said that the Trade Fair serves as a launch pad for the students to
begin their journey to success. She felicitated PG Department of Commerce and
Management for organizing the event which helps to enhance the skills and
capabilities of the students. Giving suitable opportunities and education to
girls is the first step towards their empowerment and HMV continues walking
tall in the field. In the morning event Dr. Sushma Chawla, Dr. Pawan Gupta, Sh.
Kundan Lal Aggarwal, Sh. Y.K. Sud were also present. Special attraction of
Fiesta was celebrity singers Master Saleem, Kuldeep Sandhu & Prabh Gill.
Audience enjoyed the thumping beats of their melodious songs. Celebrity RJ
Sandy also entertained them added more to the colours of the festival. Fashion
show was a charry upon the cake in the event. The Chief Guest of the Fashion
Show were Dr. Sudhir Sharma, a renowned philanthropist. The guests took a round
of the stalls which included Nail Art, Selfie Corner, Fun Rides & Swings,
Tambola, Tasty Food Corner, DJ-Song on Demand, Handicraft Haat, Skill &
Knowledge Point, Apparel Spot & Jewellary Joint. The guest of the
valedictory session was business tycoon & member DAVCMC, Mr. Ram Krishan
Gupta. The winners of the Kids Modelling Round and Fashion Show were awarded
with Crowns and Gifts. The event was successfully conducted under the lead of
the advisor Dr. Seema Marwaha, overall incharge Dr. Sangeeta Arora and Dr.
Veena Arora & in-charge Trade Fair Mrs. Meenu Kohli and Dr. Seema Khanna.
The stage was deftly handled by Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Ramnita Saini Sharda,
Mrs. Kuljit Kaur and Mrs. Binoo Gupta. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated
the faculty and staff for organizing the event with great success.
