Harmanpreet Kaur set a national record in 76 kg category in National Senior
Weight Lifting Championship held at Kangra. Harmanpreet Kaur won Gold Medal in
76 KG Category and in Clean and Jerk Category set a national record. Her best
lift was 127 kg and she lifted total weight of 223 kg in the tournament and set
national record. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated
Harmanpreet Kaur and her coach Sukhwinder Pal Singh. Sports department faculty
members Dr. Navneet Kaur and Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur were also present there.
