Under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, the Placement Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya organized Dev Community Road Show 2024 under Google Developer Groups,
Jalandhar. This road show aimed to bring together a mix of Google Practitioners
from industry experts, academic researchers, data scientists and self- taught
individuals to help learn, discover and build.
The event started with the Lighting of lamp and followed by DAV Gaan.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen presented green greetings to the
resource persons. She welcomed young resource persons and encouraged the
students to gain maximum knowledge through this road show. There were seven
sessions in which different resource persons shared their expertise with
students. The first session was taken by Mr. Simar Preet Singh who is a Front
End Engineer at Redaptive Incorporations. He delivered welcome keynote and
introduced Google Developer Groups. Then, second session was taken by Mr. Suraj
Pandey who is an aspiring Software Engineer with a robust foundation in full-
stack development. He shared his insights on full- stack development and his
journey in the tech industry. Ms. Amanpreet Kaur introduced students about
Kotlin- A game Changer in her third session; an Android Developer at
intellisence, she has successfully contributed to 17 projects. Mr. Sagar
Malhotra who is android developer and specialized in Kotlin and android
development took the Forth session. He discussed about Compose Multi-Platform:
What? How? Why? Other sessions were taken by resource person Mr. Ashwani Kumar,
Ms. Jyoti KM and Mr. Pranav Singh Parmar who shared their insights on “Cyber
security”, “Technologies to improve user experience of your product” and
“Introduction to the hybrid world with flutter” respectively. More than 200
students participated in the event. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
appreciated the efforts of Placement Cell and congratulated the organizing team
for success of this event. Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Incharge Placement Cell extended vote of thanks. The
stage was successfully conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia. On this occasion, Dr. Rama Sharma, Mrs.
Shefali Kashyap, Mr. Sumit Sharma, Mr. Parminder Singh, Mrs Navneeta and Dr.
Rakhi Mehta were also present.
