The
Commerce Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidayalaya under the able guidance of
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen organized a seminar on ‘Success Mantra:
Be Skillful'. Ms. Richa Sodhi, Senior OT Executive, Nestle India, Mumbai, and
the proud alumnae was the resource person of this seminar. Mrs. Meenu Kohli,
Head PG Department of Commerce and Management, Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Incharge
Commerce Club and Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Co- Dean Student Council welcomed the
guest with green planter. Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Head PG Department of Commerce and
Management delivered the concept note for the event and inspired the students
to gain the best out of such regular ambitiousness of the Commerce Club. Ms.
Richa Sodhi stated that she got her first placement from HMV, which marked the
beginning of her successful journey. She beautifully taught students about the
importance of both hard and soft skills and also shared her own experiences,
from her college days to her corporate life. She told that the success mantra
in any field of life is our own skills and faith in ourselves. She motivated
students that the education is the foundation for gaining success in life. Mrs.
Binoo Gupta, Incharge Commerce Club revived some of the memories with Richa
Sodhi as student in HMV. She also
encouraged students to take part in various activities to enhance their skills
and inspired the students to explore their hidden talents and be successful.
210 students enthusiastically attended this session. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Commerce Club and congratulated the
organizing team for success of this session. The stage was successfully
conducted by Mrs. Baljinder Kaur and Ms. Ritu. On this Occasion, Dr. Shallu
Batra, Mrs. Shefali Kashyap, Mrs. Preeti and Mrs. Garima were also present.
