The three-day residential workshop on
"Building Skills for Conducting Nature Camps" concluded on a high
note at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar. Organized in collaboration
with the Punjab State Council of Science & Technology (PSCST), the workshop
empowered educators to revolutionize environmental education and foster
sustainability in their teaching practices. The final day showcased an array of
creative and innovative exhibits crafted during the workshop. From visually
captivating charts on biodiversity and waste management to self-sustaining
terrariums, and intricate leaf art arrangements, the participants displayed
their ingenuity. Highlights included insect traps, ant houses, and beautifully
compiled nature diaries, reflecting their journey into experiential learning.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen, in her address, appreciated the participants’
dedication and creativity. “You are not just educators but green ambassadors
who will ignite a passion for sustainability in future generations,” she said

innovation in education.” Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Nodal Officer, emphasized the

small, creative steps.” The event concluded with a certificate distribution
ceremony and a collective pledge by participants to integrate sustainable
practices into their teaching. In her closing remarks, Principal Dr. Sareen
