A little lilting music, smiles all
along, resounding laughter – yes, all these feelings have been amalgamated in
HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School on the event of Sparkle 2024, a get together of
SSC 1 & SSC 2 students of all streams
under the dynamic directions of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
The entire programme was artistically and beautifully conducted with the
guidelines of Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean Academics and School Coordinator and Mrs.
Arvinder Kaur, School Co- coordinator, incharges of the event and the
Co-incharges Mrs. Renu Walia and Mrs. Anuradha Thakur. The programme was
commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal Madam which was
followed by DAV Gaan, as per the tradition of HMV Family. Green Welcome was
given to the inspiring lady Madam Dr. Ajay Sareen by the Incharges of the
event. The responsibility of judging the burst of talent was on the shoulders
of Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Rakhi Mehta & Mrs. Urvashi
Arora. The formal welcome to the Principal Madam and to worthy judges was given
by Mrs. Arvinder Kaur. In her warm address to the students the Principal Madam
heartily welcomed all the young learners and inspired them to be the believer
of their own selves. She congratulated the incharges on organizing a wonderful
and energetic event. She focused on the
self-introspection which instills in us the confidence to choose what is right
and what is wrong. She emphasis that male and female both equally contribute in
the development of any society and to envision the betterment is imperative as
Mahatma Hans Raj ji envisioned years ago to impart education to women which
realistically stands as grand Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalya. The students
showcased their talent in singing, dancing and modelling. The stage was
phenomenally conducted by the students Sakshi, Diksha, Dippenpreet and Arshdeep
Kaur under the guidance of Ms. Rashmi Sethi and Ms. Sukriti Sharma. The event
was coming to an end with the crowning of Wonder girls Ms. Fresher – Ekroop
Kaur, Ist Runner Up – Rashika Mahajan, 2nd Runner up – Bhawna, Baljeet Kaur Won
the title of Ms. Artsy, Ms. Biz title was given to Amandeep Kaur, Miss Tech
title was attained by Snehpreet Kaur. The vote of thanks was given by Ms Renu
Walia. All the facility members graced the event with their presence.
