An
Extension lecture was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar
under the able guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The Resource
Person was renowned writer Biba Balwant. Principal Dr. Sareen and Head of
Punjabi Department Dr. Navroop welcomed him with planter. Biba Balwant
congratulated Dr. Navroop for her new book “Bhar Vehnda Dariya” which is based
on selected poetry of Biba Balwant. He said that a poet can express his/her
emotions beautifully through poetry. He also introduced the book to the
students of M.A. Punjabi. He told the students about various forms of poetry.
Dr. Navroop gave brief introduction of the book. On this occasion, Biba Balwant
recited his selected poems. Faculty members Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Dr. Mandeep Kaur
and Dr. Sandeep Kaur were also present.
