The
Red Cross Society and Red Ribbon Club of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya,
Jalandhar organized Mammography Camp for Breast Cancer awareness under the able
guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. This camp was organized in
collaboration with Indian Medical Association.
The female faculty and staff members above the age of 40 got benefitted
from this camp. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated Red Cross
Society Advisor Mrs. Deepshikha and Incharge Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Red Ribbon
Club Incharge Dr. Deepali for such camp and said that these camps should be
organized to aware the faculty and staff about their health. Through mammography,
breast cancer can be detected at an early stage and treatment can be started.
Breast Cancer cases can also be reduced with early detection. On this occasion,
President Indian Medical Association (IMA) Jalandhar, Dr. M.S. Bhutani, Dr.
Pooja Kapoor, Dr. H.S. Bhutani, Secretary Rotary Club Sh. Tarsem Singh, Sh.
Kuldip Singh and other members were also present.
