and Wellness, Mental Health Counselling,
Eight B.Voc Programmes –
Banking and Financial Services, Web Technology and Multimedia, Cosmetology and
Wellness, Fashion Technology, Journalism and Media, Mental Health Counselling,
E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, Yoga and Fitness are running successfully.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen apprised that aspirants of any age group
with 10+2 qualification can opt for any of B.Voc Courses. She further
emphasized that syllabi of these courses have been designed in consultation
with Representatives of Sector Skill Councils and Industry partners in order to
bridge the Industry-Academia gap according to particular job role. Proper
industry exposure is provided to the students through onsite training and
interaction with Industry Experts. College has signed MOU with more than 100
Industry partners and 9 Sector Skill Councils.
There is a provision of horizontal and vertical mobility in these
courses with multiple entry and exit. After completion of one year-Diploma, Two
years-Advance Diploma and Three years Degree is awarded, Credits are properly
stored in Academic Bank as per NEP-2020. The college has state-of-the-art
infrastructure and well equipped labs to train the students. It is essential to
mention here that these B.Voc and M.Voc Programmes are at par with other
undergraduate and post graduate programmes. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen
explained that students will relish dual advantage- degree from University and
Certification from Sector Skill Council. Sector Skill Council Certification is
globally recognized and very much beneficial for aspirants to study or settle
in abroad. These courses equip the students with requisite skills which provide
them opportunity for start ups and enable them to become successful
entrepreneurs. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen averred that hundred percent placement
assistance is provided to the young learners at the verge of completion of
their courses. Students of previous batches have already been placed very well.
