Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen Dhiyan
Di Lohri was celebrated in Hostel of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. Principal
Dr. Sareen congratulated all the members of Hostel. She shared her views on the
importance of Lohri Festival and said that this festival is deep rooted in our
Folk Tales and Family Traditions. Our girls are not below boys in any field.
That is why Dhiyan Di Lohri is being celebrated every year in HMV Hostel with
full enthusiasm. She said that pious Agni of Lohri fill our life with jubiliant
moments and positivity. She congratulated Coordinator Resident Scholars Dr.
Meenu Talwar and her team for wonderful programme. Dr. Meenu Talwar thanked
Principal Dr. Sareen, who always motivates for celebrating all festivals. The
resident scholars presented Giddha and Bhangra and set the mood of the
occasion. In the end, moongfali, Rewari and sweets are distributed among all the
teaching, non-teaching staff members and students. On this occasion, Supdt.
General Mrs. Seema K. Joshi and all the wardens were also present.
