Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad (YUVA)
Jalandhar, HMV Alumnae Welfare Association (Regd.) and department of NSS
organized a workshop on Basic Life Support System under the able guidance of Principal
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The esteemed resource person for the workshop was Dr.
Mukesh Gupta, Director Shree Diagnostics Jalandhar. The formal welcome address
was given by Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Incharge Commerce Club. She highlighted that critical
and creative thinking and entrepreneurial skills can be imbibed in students
through these types of programmes. This workshop equipped students with
essential life saving skills, focusing on Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Dr. Gupta’s expert guidance enabled participants to understand the importance
of prompt medical intervention in emergency situations. Principal Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen presented token of gratitude to all the dignitaries. She also
enlightened the students about the values of life. Er. Rajinder Rishi, Regional
Joint Secretary, BVP highlighted the initiatives taken for the betterment of
community. Through demonstration about 248 attendies gained valuable insights
into basic life support system enhancing their ability to respond effectively.
The stage was conducted by Dr. Jyoti Gogia and Dr. Jaspreet Kaur. Sh. Davinder
Bajaj, Sh. Harsaurabh Bajaj, Sh. Rakesh Babbar, Sh. Karamchand Sekhon, Sh.
Vinod Kumar, Dr. Sugandha Bhatia, Sh. Rakesh Goyal, Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur, Sh.
Subhash Gupta, Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Dr. Shallu Batra, Mrs. Savita Mahendru and Ms.
Harmanu were also present.
