Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, received  Certificate of Appreciation from the National Edu Trust of India, registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, for successfully organizing and completing Parents' Day 2025 activities with enthusiasm, creativity, and community engagement.
The prestigious appreciation was awarded under the dynamic leadership of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, in recognition of her dedicated efforts toward promoting value-based education and strengthening bonds between institutions, students, and parents. The National Edu Trust lauded HMV’s active participation in the nationwide initiative aimed at holistic development.
The Gratitude Day celebration, held in alignment with National Parents’ Day, was a moving tribute to the unconditional love, sacrifices, and irreplaceable role of parents in their children's lives. The event was coordinated by Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Nodal Officer and Dean, Innovations & Research, with Dr. Urvashi Mishra, Dean, Student Council, serving as the teacher in charge. Under their guidance, the Student Council prepared impactful gratitude videos featuring Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen and Deans including Dr. Navroop (Youth Welfare), Mrs. Deepshikha (Examinations), and Dr. Rama Sharma (PRO), each expressing heartfelt tributes to their parents.
In her message, Principal Dr. Sareen remarked “Parents are the silent architects of our lives. Their sacrifices often go unnoticed, but they are the reason we are able to stand tall and shine. On this day, we must pause and reflect on their unconditional love, selflessness, and guidance. Honouring them is not just a tradition, it is our moral duty.”
The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from students including Gurleen Kaur Chana, Gurjot Kaur, Komal Ghai, Himanshi, Tania, Ridhima, Yuvika Sharma, Nazam, Komal Mehra, and Diksha Thakur, who creatively expressed their love and appreciation through: Video messages dedicated to their parents homemade cards with emotional notes, preparing breakfast or home-cooked meals as gestures of love, spending quality time with their parents to strengthen bonds. Dr. Anjana Bhatia thanked Mr. Samrath Sharma CEO of the National Edu Trust of India, for his support and collaboration in making the celebration impactful. Adding to the honour, Justice N.K. Sud expressed his joy and appreciation for the value-driven practices and holistic activities being carried out at HMV, especially the way students are nurtured in an environment that respects tradition while embracing innovation.
This recognition stands as a testament to HMV’s ongoing commitment to fostering gratitude, empathy, and moral values—principles that lie at the heart of holistic education.
