In the premises of Hansraj Mahila Mahavidyalaya, under the
leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, an activity titled 'Ek
Ped Maa Ke Naam' was organized for environmental conservation under the National
Student Paryavaran Competition (NSPC) 2025. Principal Dr. Sareen planted trees
along with Dr. Navroop Dean Youth Welfare and Dr. Anjana Bhatia Dean Innovation
and Research. NSS volunteers and NCC cadets planted saplings and pledged to
fulfil the responsibility of keeping the environment green. Principal Dr.
Sareen addressed the students that every student should plant at least one tree
while performing their duty towards Mother Earth. Program coordinator Mrs.
Pawan Kumari said that these environmental conservation activities are being
organized under the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change and in
the coming days, various activities will be organized for the protection,
security and conservation of the environment. Lieutenant Sonia Mahindru, Dr.
Jyoti Gogia, Ms. Harmanu, Dr. Sandeep Kaur were also present on this occasion.
