The
Department of Student Welfare of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised an
orientation program for scholarships available for the session 2025-26 of UG
SEM -1& PG SEM- 1 of all the streams under the able guidance of Principal
Prof.Dr. ( Mrs.) Ajay Sareen . The
overall incharge of the event was Dean Student Welfare Mrs. Binoo Gupta. She
told students about various scholarships in brief and made them aware
regarding anti ragging committee of the college and earn while you learn scheme initiative of
department of Student welfare along with Helping Hands initiatives of
scholarship beneficiary students. In the
orientation session the incharges discussed the scholarship related to their
functional areas. Dr. Mandeep Kaur told
students about the HMV Brilliance Award scholarship, Mrs Shefali Kashyap told
students about HMV others scholarships, Dr. Jaspreet told about government
funded scholarships, Dr Ravinder Mohan Jindal, Dr. Simmi Garg and Mrs. Rishav
Bhardwaj told students about non government funded scholarships. They explained
the eligibility and documentation required and the process of scholarships
funding in detail to the students during
the orientation programme. After this Dr. Ravinder Mohan Jindal told students
about the deadlines of the scholarship which was followed by answer/queries
being asked by students there. Principal Prof. Ajay Sareen in her address
emphasized on the need of focusing on academic excellence and assured that
needy students will always be helped by department of Student Welfare. Dean
Student Welfare Mrs. Binoo Gupta told that
about 700 students of various streams
benefitted by the orientation. On this occasion Dr. Mamta, Dr. Ashmeen,
Miss Ritu, Mrs Twinkle and Mr. Arvind Chandi and office bearers : Tanisha Sachdeva, Anushka
Pal and Muskaan were also present.
