Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan team of Hansraj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya,
Jalandhar, organized a Nukkad Natak in collaboration with the NSS Unit and Red
Ribbon Club at Village Gill. The Nukkad Natak was performed under the “One
Health” theme on the topic of Cleanliness. Through the performance, students
highlighted the urgent need for a clean environment, emphasizing its direct
impact on health, as many diseases spread due to pollution and unhygienic surroundings.
They also conveyed the importance of maintaining good mental health and staying
away from drug consumption. The powerful message was summed up with the
tagline: "Gandagi Hatao, Bimari Bhagao – Swachh Bharat, Swasth
Bharat". Mrs. Shefali Kashyap, member of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan
team expressed gratitude to Mrs. Amandeep Kaur, Sarpanch of the
village for allowing to organize the event. Principal Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of Dr. Navroop, Dean Youth Welfare
and incharges of the committees, Dr. Minakshi Duggal Mehta (Unnat Bharat
ABhiyan), Ms. Harmanu (NSS Unit), Dr. Deepali (Red Ribbon Club).
