The students
of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in the Folk Art Exhibition “Our
Heritage, Our Pride” in the Heritage Centre of Guru Nanak Dev University under
the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ekta Khosla. The aim of this
exhibition was to raise awareness about Punjabi Heritage among the young
generation. This exhibition was organised on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev
University’s Foundation Day by the university. Head of PG department of Punjabi Dr. Navroop
Kaur led the students to participate in this exhibition. The incharge of HMV team was Mrs. Kuljeet
Kaur along with faculty of the Punjabi Department Mrs. Satinder Kaur, Dr.
Mandeep Kaur and Ms. Sukhwinder Kaur. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Karamjit Singh,
Dean Colleges Dr. Saroj, and other senior officials were present on the
occasion. They appreciated the efforts of HMV team. Principal Prof. Dr. Ekta
Khosla said that HMV always celebrate culture, creativity and excellence. The
college has preserved rich culture of Punjab through “Amri da Vehra” maintained
in its premises. The college has displayed heritage culture of Punjab in a
beautiful way. The Head of the University's Punjabi Department, Dr. Manjinder
Singh, and Dr. Baljit Kaur Riar also visited the exhibition.
