The NSS Unit of Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, under the able guidance of Principal Dr.
(Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm and
patriotic spirit. To mark this significant national occasion, the NSS
volunteers participated in a collective reading of the Preamble of the
Constitution of India. On this occasion, Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla
addressed the volunteers and highlighted the importance of Constitution Day.
She emphasized that the Constitution is not merely a legal document but the
foundation of India’s democracy, guiding citizens toward responsible
participation in nation-building. She encouraged students to understand their
roles as informed citizens and to uphold constitutional principles in their daily
lives.
NSS Programme Officers
Ms Harmanu and Dr. Deepti were also present and motivated the volunteers
to actively participate in such meaningful activities. They appreciated the
enthusiasm of the students and reminded them that the Constitution is a living
document that shapes the nation’s journey forward.
