Havan Ceremony marking the commencement of the academic session 2026–27 for SSC
II at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School was conducted with great reverence and
spiritual fervour under the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The
auspicious beginning of the session filled the atmosphere with positivity,
enthusiasm, and divine vibrations. Students and faculty members participated
wholeheartedly, chanting holy mantras in unison and invoking the blessings of
the Almighty for a successful and enlightening academic journey ahead.
Principal Prof. Dr. Ekta Khosla addressed the gathering with a note of
felicitation, highlighting that the new academic session holds special
significance as HMV steps into its Centennial Year. In a symbolic expression,
she explained that the onset of the month of April signifies a transition in
weather, reflecting the dynamic energy within individuals, which must be
channelled wisely towards achieving success.
In her inspiring address, she urged the students to cultivate
discipline, self-control, and perseverance, and to strive for excellence in all
their endeavours. She blessed them to spread goodness and positivity, much like
the divine essence of the havan, and to bring pride to their parents, teachers,
and the nation. Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean Academics and School Advisor,
congratulated the students on the commencement of the new academic session and
emphasized that success is attained through focused determination, consistent
hard work, and the blessings of elders. She laid special emphasis on the
importance of time management, describing time as the most valuable asset in an
individual’s life, and urged students to utilise it judiciously for achieving
their goals. Mrs. Arvinder Kaur, School Coordinator, highlighted the importance
of nurturing devotion, passion, and love in young minds. On this occasion, Sh. Ravi Maini, Superintendent Admin, Sh.
Pankaj Jyoti, Accounts Superintendent, Mrs. Seema Joshi , General Office Superintendent
were also present. The Havan Ceremony culminated with the recital of the Shanti
Path by Dr. Meenu Talwar, spreading an aura of peace and harmony. The event
witnessed the gracious presence of all members of the collegiate faculty, both
teaching and non-teaching staff along with the supporting staff and students,
making it a truly serene and memorable beginning to the new academic session.
