A week-long special
Vedic Katha programme organised by Arya Samaj (Kila) Vikrampura, Jalandhar,
from 21 to 27 September 2026, concluded with a Purnahuti ceremony on 27
September. The programme was held under the able guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta
Khosla, Principal, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya and Pradhan, Arya Samaj
Vikrampura; Principal Inderjeet Talwar, Mantri; and Principal Ravinder Kumar,
Sanyukt Mantri.The programme brought together inspiring discourses on Vedic
wisdom by Dr. Pramod Yogarthi, Principal, Brahma Mahavidyalaya, Hisar, along
with Acharya Jai Prakash and Acharya Hansraj. Through their enlightening Katha
and the daily Yajna, they shared the timeless message of the Vedas and
encouraged people to connect with the values of truth, righteousness and
service. At the concluding ceremony Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, as the
Chief Yajman, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to
the successful conduct of the programme. She said that character building is
the highest aim of education and that education becomes truly meaningful when
knowledge is enriched with vivek, sanskar and a spirit of service. She called
upon everyone to work together for personal growth as well as for the
betterment of society and the nation. She expressed satisfaction that the
objective of taking Vedic knowledge to the masses had been meaningfully
fulfilled through the inspiring discourses of Acharya Pramod Ji. Principals,
faculty members and students from various institutions participated
enthusiastically in the programme. Dr. Ekta Khosla thanked to all the
participating institutions. She also appreciated the dedicated services of
Principal Inderjeet Talwar and Principal Ravinder Kumar towards Arya Samaj
Vikrampura and encouraged all Arya members and institutions to participate in
such programmes with greater enthusiasm in the future. She emphasised that it
is the collective responsibility of society to take the values and principles
of Arya Samaj to the masses and help the younger generation remain connected
with strong sanskar and Vedic values. Principal Inderjeet Talwar shared the
significance of the Vedic Katha and its message for society. The programme
concluded with Bhajan Gayan and Shanti Path, performed collectively by all the
Arya brothers and sisters, creating an atmosphere of devotion, peace and
spiritual harmony. The concluding ceremony was also graced by the presence of
Sh. Ajay Goswami, Secretary, DAV Managing Committee, Sh. Kundan Lal Aggarwal
and Sh. O.P. Sehdev. Students of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, along with Dr.
Meenu Talwar, President, Arya Yuvati Sabha, faculty members and non-teaching
staff, also participated actively in the programme. The programme came to a
warm and meaningful close with all the members joining together for Rishi
Langar, carrying forward the spirit of fellowship, service and shared values.
