The fourth day of Science INSPIRE Camp organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the directions of Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj was very successful. In the first session, Prof. S.K. Dogra, INSA Honorary Scientist, IIT,
In
the second session, Dr. M.S. Chauhan from NDRI was the resource person. He told students about animal cloning. He told that how milk production can be
increased with animal cloning. The
session was an interactive one and students asked so many questions from him.
In
the third session, Dr. Krishnendu Gangopadhyay from Indian Institute of Science
Education and Research, Mohali was the resource person. His topic was eluciian geometry. He told that how geometrical objects like
line, triangle can be set up in elucidian geometry.
In
the evening session, students were given hands on practicals in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Botany, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology Labs.
On
this occasion, Camp Coordinator Mr. Harpreet Singh, Dean Academics Mrs.
Meenakshi Syal, Mrs. Kiranjti Kaur, Mrs. Rakesh Uppal, Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dr.
Meena Sharma, Dr. Jitender Kumar, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Shaveta Chauhan, Dr.
Nitik, Mrs. Purnima were also present.
