Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized two day workshop on Equity Market and
Virtual Trading for the students of B.Voc. (Banking and Financial
Services). Mr. Govind Kumar from ICICI
Securities Ltd. was the resource person.
On the first day, the students were guided about the importance of
equity investments and the process of dealing in stock market with the help of
live example from stock market. The
second day of the workshop started with the virtual trading in the vocational
lab. The session focused on fundamental
and technical analysis and the various ways of hedging risk. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks
given by Head of the department Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur. College Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj
appreciated the efforts of the department and encouraged to organize such
programmes in future as well.
