Vidyalaya organized Cancer Awareness Rally in college campus. Mrs. Jyoti Kaul
and members of chemistry department welcomed Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay
Sareen with a bouquet. Awareness
campaign was organized to make people aware of this deadly disease and to
stress upon the prevention, early detection and cure of the disease. Students participated enthusiastically in
this rally and gave message through various posters and charts to raise
awareness of cancer to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment. If diagnosed in early stage, it could be
treated and cured as early detection can save almost 60 to 70 percent of cancer
patient. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay
Sareen appreciated the efforts done by students and members of department and
encouraged them to perform such activities in future also. She also advised the students to pass on this
message to their families so that by adopting the preventive measures, they can
lead a healthy life. She also advised
them to motivate the victims of this disease and bring smile on their faces.
On this occasion, Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, HOD, Dr. Neelam Sharma,
Mrs. Deepshikha, Dr. Ekta Khosla, Dr. Aparna Sharma, Mrs. Asha Gupta, Mrs.
Narinderjit Kaur, Mrs. Umesh and other members of science staff were present.
