Commerce Club of PG Deptt. of Commerce and Management of
Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Commerce Bonanza 2016. Various competitions were organized for the
students of commerce under the guidance of Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Incharge
Commerce Club and Head of PG Deptt. of Commerce. The competitions included Poster making and
paper presentation competition on the topic ‘India Vision 2020’ and ‘Make in
India’, Fancy dress, Pot decoration, flower arrangement, nail art, best out of
waste, Rangoli, Business Plan competition, Business Quiz, Brand Logo, Tattoo
making, cartooning on the latest political scenario, collage making on
e-commerce and Inter-class dance completion.
Prof. Binoo Gupta, event Coordinator, told that the purpose of these
competitions is to inculcate the spirit of teamwork, creativity, innovation and
management and to prepare the students for fast developing and changing
world. More than 500 students
participated in these competitions. Principal
Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen gave away prizes to the winners and motivated the
students to realize their infinite potential and get prepared to meet the
future challenges. She also
congratulated the faculty of commerce department for organizing such a gala and
wonderful event.
In best out of waste competition, Bhavneet Kaur won first
prize. In Flower arrangement, Diksha won
first prize. In business quiz, Vidhita,
Navjot and Divya won first prize. In
Rangoli, Komal won first prize. In
Business Plan, first prize was won by Gulfam Virdi and Kavita Handa. In cartooning, Monika won first prize. In collage making, Gurleen won first
prize. In Pot decoration, Aarushi won
first prize. In Nail art, Roopam and
Minkashi won first prize. In Brand Logo Tattoo
making, Sumeet and Sheetal won first prize.
In Poster making, Yukti Dhiman won prize. In Paper presentation, Mansi won first
prize. In Fancy Dress, Pallavi Mehta won
first prize. In Folk Dance collegiate
level, team of SSC II Commerce won prize. In Folk Dance degree level, team of
B.Com. I won first prize. On this
occasion, Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Mrs. Meenu Kohli, Dr. Seema Khanna, Mrs. Meenu
Kundra, Mrs. Shikha Chhabra, Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Dr. Minakshi Duggal, Mrs.
Yuvika acted as judges of various events.
Mrs. Kajal Puri was the venues coordinator. Mrs. Ritu Bahri, Mrs.
Zinnia, Ms. Karishma, Mrs. Maha, Ms.Sunaina, Ms. Harjot, Ms. Nishima, Ms. Shyna
acted as competition incharges. The
students M.Com. I & II applied their organizing talent learnt in the class
by acting as Event managers.
