The renovated library of Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya was inaugurated by Dr. S.S. Khanna, Vice President DAV College Managing
Committee New Delhi. The library is named as “Swami Dayanand Library”. During this occasion, Dr. S.S. Khanna
inaugurated the library and said that books are our best friends and library is
like a temple. Books never leave us alone. They always increase our knowledge
in every sphere. Dr. S.S. Khanna appreciated the infrastructure of the library
and said that this library is of international level with so many books and
journals. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen welcomed him and told that the library
of HMV is now a digital library with open access system. Library has a “Peace
Zone” for meditation purpose. It has an AC reading hall for the students.
Librarian Mrs. Renu Singla told them the library is having inflibnet facility
to access online journals too. The students of Music Department recited Vedic
Mantras. On this occasion, Principal Mr. M.L. Aeri was also present.
