The
students of Punjabi department of Hans Raj Mahila Vidyalaya visited Preet
Nagar, founded by renowned writer Gurbaksh Singh Preetladi. The students met with the family members of
S. Gurbaksh Singh Preetladi, which included Mrs. Uma Gurbaksh Singh, Hridyaypal
and Praveen Ji and gathered information about the life, personality and
experiences of S. Gurbaksh Singh Preetladi.
The students also saw two plays “William Tell” and “Mull Di Tiwi” in
Balraj Sahni open air theatre. They also
visited the house of famous Novelist Nanak Singh. The students expressed their gratitude
towards these famous personalities of literature. They also visited Ram Tirath Temple and
Darbar Sahib. This educational tour was
organized under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. The students were accompanied by Mrs. Veena
Arora and Ms. Arvinder. The students
said that it was a memorable educational trip as they are studying the writings
of these famous writers in their syllabus.
ਮਿਤੀ 6 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2016 ਨੂੰ ਪ³ਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ 50 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਸਮੂਹ ਪ³ਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਉਘੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕਾਰ ਗੁਰਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਲੜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਸਾਏ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਗਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ, ਜਿਥੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਲੜੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ, ਉਮਾ ਗੁਰਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹਿਰਦੇਪਾਲ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵੀਨ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਲੜੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ, ਸਖਸ਼ੀਅਤ ਤੇ ਤਜ਼ਰਬਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਸਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਲਰਾਜ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਓਪਨਏਅਰ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਚ ਦੋ ਨਾਟਕ ਵਿਲੀਅਮ ਟੈÎੱਲ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਲ ਦੀ ਤੀਵÄ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੇ। ਪ੍ਰੀਤਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਏ ਤੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਇੱਛਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਲੜੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿੱਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਨਗਰ ਚ ਫੇਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸਿਧ ਨਾਵਲਕਾਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਾਮ ਤੀਰਥ ਮੰਦਰ ਚੌਗਾਵਾਂ, ਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੀ ਗਏ। ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਬੱਚਿਆ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਮੈਡਮ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਤੇ ਮੈਡਮ ਅਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੈਡਮ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਸਦਕਾ ਇਹ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਫੇਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਰਹੀ। ਬੀ.ਏ. ਭਾਗ ਤੀਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਚ ਲੱਗੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕਾਰ ਗੁਰਬਖ਼ਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਲੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਿਜੀ ਅਨੁਭਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
