Poster making and slogan writing
competition was organized by the history department in HRMMV under the
directions of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. All the students of History Department
participated actively in the competition.
Beautiful posters were made and inspirational slogans were written in
remembrance of Bhagat Singh. In Poster
making Manjot Kaur got 1st prize, Gulwinder Kaur got 2nd and Dolly got 3rd
prize respectively.
In slogan writing Jaskaranpreet got 1st
prize, Ritu got 2nd and Sakshi got 3rd prize respectively. Madam Principal congratulated the students
and gave away the prizes to the winners.
She also encouraged the students to take inspiration from the life of
Bhagat Singh. The event was adjudged by
Prof. Neeru Bharti Sharma of Fine Arts Deptt. and Prof. Kuljit Kaur of Punjabi
Deptt. Prof. Saranjit Kaur and Prof. Dolly were also present on this occasion.

(ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਤੇ ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਈਟਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ-ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਬੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਬਣਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਕਲਾਬੀ ਸਲੋਗਨ ਲਿਖੇ। ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਕ੍ਰਮਵਾਰ ਪਹਿਲਾ, ਦੂਜਾ ਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਮਨਜੋਤ, ਗੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਡੌਲੀ ਨੇ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਲੋਗਨ ਰਾਈਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜਸਕਰਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ, ਦੂਜਾ ਰਿਤੂ ਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਡਮ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਤਕਸੀਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰਾਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਪੋ੍ਰ. ਸ਼ਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡੌਲੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
