organized "Jashn-e-Aamad" in the honor of President DAVCMC and Arya
Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha Dr. Punam Suri. Dr. Punam
Suri inaugurated Mahatma Anand Swami Block of Performing Arts. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay
Sareen welcomed President Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri in the college campus.
During the inauguration of Mahatma Anand Swami Performing Arts Block, the
students presented Folk Orchestra. Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri inaugurated the
newly built college canteen "Bits & Bites". A Nukkad Natak, "Humse
Mile", written & directed by Asstt. Prof. in Hindi Dr. Nidhi Bal was
presented by the students. Dr. Suri also visited newly built Swami Dayanand
Library and appreciated that the college has such rich collection of books in
the library. Dr. Suri also inaugurated the ATM of Allahabad
Bank in the campus. In collaboration
with Reliance Jio Infocom Ltd., the Wi-fi 4G Campus of the college was also
started.
In
the Ragini Auditorium, "Jashn-e-Aamad" started with the lighting of
the lamp. After DAV Gaan, Principal Dr.
Ajay Sareen welcomed President Dr. Punam Suri with bouquets. She said that the
programme "Jashn-e-Aamad" is the symbol of our happiness on the visit
of Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri Ji. She said that Dr. Suri is a dynamic
personality who always encourages everyone to work with full energy and
enthusiasm.
The
students presented skit "Kagaz ke Phool", classical dance and
mimicry. On this occasion, a ticket with the picture of Dr. Punam Suri was also
released in collaboration with India Post. Dr. Punam Suri wrote first letter on
the envelop of HMV with that ticket, in which he congratulated Principal of
HMV, faculty members and staff for progress they have made and wished for their
better future.
Vote
of thanks was given by Chairman Local Committee Retd. Justice N.K. Sud. Giddha was also performed by the students. On
this occasion, Sh. R.S. Sharma (Gen. Secy.), Dr. Satish Kumar Sharma (Director,
Colleges), Sh. J.P. Shoor (Director, PS), Mrs. J. Kackria (Director, PS), Brig.

ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਦੇਸ਼ਿਕ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ੋਜਸ਼ਨ-ਏ-ਆਮਦੋ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਪਰਫਾੱਰਮਿੰਗ ਆਰਟਸ ਬਲਾਕ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਆਰਿਆ ਰਤਨ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਪਰਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਪਰਫਾੱਰਮਿੰਗ ਆਰਟਸ ਬਲਾਕ ਦੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਫੋਕ ਆਰਕੇਸਟ੍ਰਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਅਸਿਸਟੇਂਟ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੇਸਰ ਡਾ. ਨਿਧਿ ਬਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਿਤ ਨੁਕੱੜ ਨਾਟਕ ੋਹਮਸੇ ਮਿਲੇੋ ਵੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਦਯਾਨੰਦ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਾ. ਸੂਰੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਰਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਲਾਹਾਬਾਦ ਬੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਏਟੀਐਮ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਰਿਲਾਯੰਸ ਜਿਓ ਇਨਫੋਕਾੱਮ ਲਿਮਿਟੇਡ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ੋਵਾਈ-ਫਾਈ 4ਜੀੋ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਭਾਰੰਭ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਰਾਗਿਨੀ ਸਭਾਗਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀਪ ਜਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ੋਜਸ਼ਨ-ਏ-ਆਮਦੋ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੂਭਾਰੰਭ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ ਗਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਫੁੱਲ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਆਰਿਆ ਰਤਨ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ੋਜਸ਼ਨ-ਏ-ਆਮਦੋ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਰੀ ਜੀ ਉਰਜਾ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸ੍ਰੋਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕੁਝ ਨ ਕੁਝ ਨਵਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਕਿਟ ੋਕਾਗਜ ਕੇ ਫੂਲੋ, ਕਲਾਸਿਕਲ ਡਾਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਮਿਕ੍ਰੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਾਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਥ ਨਾਲ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਵਾਲੀ ਟਿਕਟ ਵੀ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਡਾ. ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਨੇ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨੰਤੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਝੱਵਲ ਭੱਵਿਖ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਡੀਏਵੀ ਲੋਕਲ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਐਨ.ਕੇ.ਸੂਦ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੋ੍ਰਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਿੱਧਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਆਰ.ਐਸ.ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ), ਡਾ. ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਕਾੱਲਜਿਸ), ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਜੇ.ਪੀ.ਸ਼ੂਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਜੇ.ਕਕੜਿਆ (ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਪੀਐਸ), ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਏ.ਕੇ.ਅਦਲੱਖਾ (ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ) ਅਤੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਦਲੱਖਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਘਈ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੀ.ਕੇ.ਮਿੱਤਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਸ.ਆਰ.ਅਰੋੜਾ (ਸਕੱਤਰ), ਡਾ. ਏ.ਕੇ.ਪਾੱਲ (ਵਾਇਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ), ਡਾ. ਆਰ.ਕੇ. ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ (ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ, ਡੀਏਵੀ ਯੂਨੀ.), ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪੀ.ਪੀ.ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਲਮ ਕਾਮਰਾ (ਰਿਜਨਲ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਪੀਐਸ), ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਦੇ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾੱਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਜਸਬੀਰ ਰੀਸ਼ਿ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
