One day National Seminar on
Patenting Tools and Techniques was organized in Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Prof.
Pragnesh N. Dave, from KSKV University, Bhuj, Kuchch, Gujarat was the key speaker.
He created awareness regarding patent laws and patent amendment laws 2016. He
told about the techniques and tools used in patenting in Indian patent office.
He suggested that early publication of patent claims should be requested. The
patent claims should be concrete in nature with detailed claim specifications.
He elaborated the steps of examination and filling of form 18(A) and steps of
filing within 48 months from the date of priority. In case of any objections
raised by controller office, he explained the steps of requesting reexamination.
He suggested the establishment of IPR cell in the college. Mrs. Meenakshi Syal,
Dean Academics, Mrs. Jyoti Kaul, Mrs. Rakesh Uppal, Dr. Kanwaldeep and Dr. Ekta
Khosla were present. Stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
