Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized its annual gala fete ‘FIESTA-2017’ on 18th February, 2017. Hon’ble Chief Guests Mrs. Vani Vij, an
illustrious industrialist and Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Director, Youth Welfare Department,
GNDU, Amritsar inaugurated the fair by lighting the lamp, releasing the
colourful balloons in the open air and declaring the fete open. Justice (Retd.) N.K. Sud, Vice President
DAVCMC and Chairman Local Committee, Sh. Arvind Ghai, Secretary DAVCMC, members
of Local Committee Sh. Kundan Lal Aggarwal, Sh. S.N. Mayor, Dr. Pawan Gupta,
Smt. & Sh. Ashok Paruthi, Sh. Surendra Seth, Dr. S.K. Arora, Dr. Manoj
Kumar, Principal Ravinder Sharma and Mr. Ramesh Sharma, Distt. President BJP
graced the occasion. Principal Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen accorded a warm welcome to all the guests and acquainted
them with outstanding achievements of the college. Dr. Jagjit Kaur motivated the students for
seeking such education which would also give them opportunities for personality
development. The students of the college
presented a folk song and group dance on the occasion. A trade fair was also organized by Commerce
department with unique stalls like ‘Jewellery Joint’, ‘Handicraft Haat’,
‘Grooming Station’, ‘Knowledge Point’ and ‘Apparel Spot’ etc. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
congratulated the Commerce department for organizing the trade fair. She said that it would give the students of
commerce department opportunity to obtain practical training of their field.
‘Tiny Steps’ Baby Show and
‘Guiding Stars’ Grandparents show were the special attractions of this
day. Chief guest Dr.
Fashion Show was organized on
this occasion. After passing through
various rounds, the titles of Miss Fete 2017, Miss Elegance, Miss Stylish, Miss
Ultimate, Miss Pearl, Miss Punjaban were conferred on Tavleen, Ramneet,
Kamakshi, Amisha, Divya, Harpreet Kaur respectively.
Eminent singers Mr. Sarabjit
Cheema, Mr. Gurjit and Ms. Charanjit enthralled the audience with their
melodious rendering of Punjabi numbers thereby adding gaiety to the fair.
In the evening session, Hon’ble
Chief Guest Mrs. Aruna Sharma w/o Mr. Rakesh Sharma M/s Priya Rubber and
Plastic Industries, Jalandhar and Mr. Ramesh Sharma made their benign presence
for the Raffle Draw. Principal Dr. Mrs.
Ajay Sareen honoured the guests with mementoes, planters and paintings
specially made by Botany, FD and Fine Arts departments.

Anjana Bhatia and Dr. Nidhi Kochhar.

(ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ-2017 ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵਾਨੀ ਵਿਜ (ਇੰਡਸਟ੍ਰੀਲਿਸਟ) ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਜਗਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ (ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਯੂਥ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ-ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ), ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਨ. ਕੇ. ਸੂਦ (ਉਪਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ-ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ.ਸੀ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ), ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਘਈ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਸ.ਕੇ. ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਐਸ.ੲੈਨ. ਮਾਯਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਜੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕੁੰਦਨ ਲਾਲ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਵਿਪਨ ਝਾਂਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਗਲ ਤਿਲਕ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਜ਼ੋਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਜਵਲਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬਾ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਮੁਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਂਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਜੁਗਨੀ ਗੀਤ, ਸਮੂਹਿਕ ਡਾਂਸ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਨੇ ਆਏ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ, ਪੇਟਿੰਗ ਆਦਿ ਉਪਹਾਰ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਐਚ ਐਮ ਵੀ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ-2017 ਦਾ ਆਗਾਜ਼ ਅਰਸ਼ 'ਚ ਗੁਬਾਰੇ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮੰਗਲ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ 'ਚ ਕਲਚਰਲ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਟਾਇਨੀ ਸਟੈਪਸ ਬੇਬੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ, ਟਰੇਂਡੀ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ੋਅ, ਅਤੇ ਗਾਈਡਿਂਗ ਸਟਾਰਜ਼ ਗ੍ਰੇਂਡ ਪੇਰੈਂਟਸ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ 'ਚ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਵਧ-ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ।
ਬੇਬੀ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਇਰਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ, ਤਵਨੂਰ ਕੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਇਰਾ, ਗ੍ਰੇਂਡ ਪ੍ਰ਼ੇਰੇਂਟ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਤੋਸ਼ ਛਿੱਬੜ, ਰਮਾ ਚੌਧਰੀ, ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਖੰਨਾ, ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ੋਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸ ਅਲਟੀਮੇਟ ਅਮੀਸ਼ਾ, ਮਿਸ ਪਰਲ ਦਿਵਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ 2017 ਤਵਲੀਨ, ਮਿਸ ਏਲੀਗੈਂਸ ਰਮਨੀਤ, ਮਿਸ ਸਟਾਇਲਿਸ਼ ਕਮਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਪੰਜਾਬਨ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡਾ. ਜਗਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ, ਨਿਸ਼ਠਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਸਫਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਂ ਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਪਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਫਿਏਸਟਾ-2017 ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਰਕਸ਼ਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ - ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਚੀਮਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਕਰਨਜੀਤ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਪ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਮਣ ਤੇ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਣ-ਪੀਣ ਦੇ ਸਟਾਲਾਂ, ਮਿਊਜਿਕ ਤੇ ਝੂਟਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਆਨੰਦ ਲਿਆ।
ਫਿਏਸਟਾ-2017 ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਰੈਫਲ ਡ੍ਰਾ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਰੁਣਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ (ਪਤਨੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਇੰਡਸਟ੍ਰੀਅਲ ਪ੍ਰਿਆ ਰਬੜ ਇੰਡਸਟ੍ਰੀ) ਦਾ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਰੈਫਲ ਡ੍ਰਾ ਦੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ, ਡਾ. ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਖੰਨਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਰਮਨੀਤਾ ਸੈਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਰਦਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੰਕਜ ਜੋਤੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੱਢੇ ਗਏ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਰੁਣਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਬੱਚੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੋਗੁਨੀ ਰਾਤ ਚੋਗੁਨੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰਨ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਜੋਤੀ ਕੋਲ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਰੂਪ ਕੌਰ, ਡਾ. ਏਕਤਾ ਖੋਸਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਕੁਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਬੱਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਫਿਏਸਟਾ-2017 ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ।
