Drishti Cell for Physically Challenged of Hans
Raj Mahla Maha Vidyalaya organized 3-day workshop Android Training for Visually
Impaired in collaboration with Saksham Punjab.
25 participants attended this workshop from Chandigarh, Punjab and
Haryana. The chief guests of the
occasion were Sh. Arvind Chopra, Director Hindi Samachar and Mrs. Seema Chopra,
Journalist and Social Activists.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the guests with
bouquets. In this workshop, training was
provided on accessing smart phone. The
resource person of the workshop was Mr. Sunil, Implement Officer at Saksham
Delhi. The project was funded by WIPO
Accessible Books Consortium. Principal
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told that the objective of this workshop is to provide
easy access to smart phones to the visually impaired students. In this workshop, smart phones were given to
the participants on subsidized prices.
The stage was conducted by Dr. Ashmeen Kaur. On this occasion, Coordinator of the Cell Dr.
Prem Sagar and General Secretary Saksham Punjab Mrs. Deepika Sood were also
present.
ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਤਿਨ•ਾਂ ਐਂਡਰੋਯਲ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਸਕਸ਼ਮ ਪ³ਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੋਜਨਯ ਤੋਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਟੀ, ਸੈਲ ਫਾਰ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਿਕ ਅਸਮੱਰਥ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਚੌਪੜਾ (ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਹਿੰਦ ਸਮਾਚਾਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਚੌਪੜਾ (ਪਤੱਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਿਕਾ) ਦਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. (ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾ ਦਾ ਗੁਲਦਸਤਾ ਭੇਂਟਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਅਸਮੱਰਥ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਫੋਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਹੇਤੂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ 25 ਲੋਕਾਂ ( 13 ਲੜਕੀਆਂ, 12 ਲੜਕਿਆਂ) ਨੂੰ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪ³ਜਾਬ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ•, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਕੁੰਤਲ (ਸਕਸ਼ਮ,ਦਿੱਲੀ) ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਹ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਫੰਡ ਵੀ.ਪੋ. ਬੁਕਸ ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਅਸਕਸ਼ਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਹੇਤੂ ਕਾਬਲ ਬਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. (ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਹੇਤੂ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ਤੇ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਆਸ਼ਮੀਨ ਕੌਰ (ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ, ਦਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਸੈਲ) ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਾਗਰ (ਕੋਆਡੀਨੇਟਰ), ਡਾ. ਦੀਪਿਕਾ ਸੂਦ (ਜਨਰਲ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ, ਸਕਸ਼ਮ) ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਰਹੇ।
