Havan Yajna was performed at Yajnashala of Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. This Havan Yajna was performed
on the occasion of conferment of Padamshree to Arya Ratan Dr. Punam Suri,
President DAV College Managing Committee by His Excellency, Hon’ble President
Sh. Pranab Mukherjee. The staff members
of the college prayed to Almighty for good health of Dr. Punam Suri so that DAV
institutions should continue to prosper under his able guidance. Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen said that we
should always be thankful to God for whatever he has given. We should adopt humility, forgiveness and happiness
in our life. On this occasion, birthday
wishes were given to the non-teaching staff members whose birthday falls in
this month. The role of Purohit was
performed by Mrs. Sunita Dhawan, Head of Sanskrit Department.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਹਵਨ ਯੱਗ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਆਯੋਜਨ ‘ਡੀਏਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਆਰਿਆ ਰਤਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪੂਨਮ ਸੂਰੀ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਚ ਮਹਾਮਹਿਮ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਵ ਮੁਖਰਜੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੱਤ ਪਦਮਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹਵਨ ਯੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਕਾਮਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤਾਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਦੋਗੁਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਤ ਚੋਗੁਨੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰੇ। ਮੈਡਮ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟਾਫ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੈਨਿਕ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਨਮ੍ਰਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ, ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਾ, ਸ਼ਮਾ ਭਾਵ, ਅਤੇ ਮੁਸਕੁਰਾਹਟ ਆਦਿ ਸਦਗੁਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮਹਿਨੇ ਨਾੱਨ-ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ 'ਚ ਗਿਫਟ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਨੀਤਾ ਧਵਨ ਨੇ ਯੱਗ 'ਚ ਪੁਰੋਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
