HMV got award of Flagship College

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, the premier institute of North India, has been bestowed with prestigious award for promoting the cause of women education.  The said award is Flagship College and is given by Confederation of Educational Excellence (CEE) in association with ECONS to the institution for the excellence in the field of academics, sports, extra curricular activities, state-of-art infrastructure and research.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told that the award was bestowed by Dr. Udit Raj, Member Parliament Loksabha.  He graced the occasion as Chief Guest of the award ceremony.  132 applications from all over the country were received by the organization for the said award.  HMV is the only college from North India and one amongst five institutions of higher education in India to get this coveted award. 

She further added that Confederation of Education Excellence has also conferred on award to the Principal of the institution entitled Excellence in the Field of Education.  CEE has also awarded Dean Academics of the college Dr. Meenakshi Sayal.  The award ceremony was held at New Delhi.  On this occasion, a conclave on Excellence in Education with the theme Education 2025: Students First was also organized in which Raja Jose Luis Alverez; from Foundation of Vedic India and David Lynch Foundation (USA) offered to sign MOU with our institution for the Faculty and Students Exchange Programme.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the faculty and staff members and said that all this is possible because of guidance of DAV mentors and continuous efforts of faculty members.

 ਉੱਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਵੋਤਮ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਨਵਾਜ਼ਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਅਵਾਰਡ “ਫਲੈਗਸ਼ਿਪ ਕਾਲਜ” ਅਵਾਰਡ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਨਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆੱਫ ਏਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਏਕਸੀਲੇਂਸ (ਸੀਈਈ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਈਕਾਂਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਖੇਡਾਂ, ਹੌਰ ਗਤਿਵਿਧਿਆਂ, ਉੱਤਮ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ਼ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. (ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਪਾਰਲੀਆਮੈਂਟ (ਲੋਕਸਭਾ) ਡਾ. ਉਦਿਤ ਰਾਜ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ।ਇਸ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ 'ਚੋਂ 132 ਨਿਵੇਦਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਉੱਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਟੋਪ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਵੀ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਹੈ।

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ‘ਕਨਫੀਡਿਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆੱਫ ਏਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਏਕਸੀਲੇਂਸ’ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ “ਏਕਸੀਲੇਂਸ ਇਨ ਦ ਫੀਲਡ ਆੱਫ ਏਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ” ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸੀਈਈ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅਵਾਰਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ 'ਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।  ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ “ਏਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ 2025: ਸਟੂਡੇਂਟ੍ਰਸ ਫਰਸਟ” ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਨਾਲ ਏਕਸੀਲੇਂਸ ਇਨ ਏਜੁਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਕਨਕਲੇਵ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਆੱਫ ਵੈਦਿਕ ਇਡਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਾ ਜੋਸ ਲੁਇਸ ਏਲਵਰੇਂਜ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਵਿਡ ਲਿੰਗ ਫਾਉਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ (ਯੂ.ਐਸ.ਏ) ਨੇ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਟੂਡੇਂਟ ਏਕਸਚੇਂਜ ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਐਮ.ਓ.ਯੂ ਸਾਇਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਜਤਾਈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
