A one week workshop on Vaastu Shastra was inaugurated at
Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya by department of Fine Arts and Design. The resource person of the workshop is Vastu
Consultant Mr. Shaan Chaudhary.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the resource person with
bouquet of flowers. She said that this
workshop is specially being organized for B.D. Interior students. Resource Person Mr. Shaan Chaudhary
introduced Vastu Shastra which is a traditional Hindu System of
Architecture. It literally means science
of architecture. Further, principles of
design, layouts, measurements, ground preparation and space arrangement were
discussed. He discussed various
principles of design and layout of houses, towns, cities, gardens, shops and
other public areas. He said that during
the workshop, he will be discussing the case studies of residential and
commercial spaces also. On this
occasion, Head of Fine Arts department Miss Shama Sharma, Dr. Neeru Bharti
Sharma, Dr. Rakhi Mehta, Ms. Teena, Ms. Mehak along with B.D. (Textile &
Fashions) and BFA teachers were also present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਇਨ ਆਰਟਸ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ “ਵਾਸਤੁਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ” ਤੇ ਇਕ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੀ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਤੌਰ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਵਾਸਤੁ ਮਾਹਰ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਬੀ.ਡੀ.(ਇੰਟੀਰਿਯਰ) ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਸ਼ਾਨ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਨੇ ਵਾਸਤੁ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਰਕੀਟੇਕਚਰ ਦੀ ਪਾਰਮਪਰਿਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ “ਆਰਕੀਟੇਕਚਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ”। ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮ, ਲੇਆਉਟ, ਗ੍ਰਾਉਂਡ ਪੇ੍ਰਪ੍ਰਾਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਪੇਸ ਅਰੇਂਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਘਰ, ਸ਼ਹਿਰ, ਟਾਉਨ, ਗਾਰਡਨ, ਦੁਕਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਰ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਰੇਜ਼ਿਡੇਂਸ਼ਿਯਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਰਸ਼ਿਯਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਫਾਇਨ ਆਰਟਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਸੁਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਮਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਰੂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਰਾਖੀ ਮੇਹਤਾ, ਟੀਨਾ, ਮਹਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਡੀ. (ਟੇਕਸਟਾਇਲ ਤੇ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ) ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਐਫ.ਏ. ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
