Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is offering various skilled courses
to students. Under skilled courses
category, B.Voc. (Web Technology & Multimedia), B.Voc. (Banking &
Financial Services), under Community College Scheme, Diploma in Journalism and
Media, Advanced Diploma in Fashion Designing, Bachelor in Design, Bachelor in
Fine Arts, B. Design (Multimedia), PG Diploma in Cyber Law & Information
Security, are included. Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen told that under Community College scheme of UGC, MOUs
are signed with various industries and media houses and their curriculum is
designed keeping in view the needs of the industry. Scholarship is also given to students under
Community College Scheme after the completion of semester. Under B.Voc. courses degree of GNDU is given
and vocational training is provided to the students. Principal Dr. Sareen told that Vocational
Training Programme is designed to create employment for women by empowering them
with the skills needed for industry. Any
women (14 years or above) can apply and join the same without any hidden
charges. Under VTP, courses of Beauty
and Hair Dressing, Tailor & Soft Skills are provided to the students.

(ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜਾਇਨਿੰਗ), ਪੀ.ਜੀ. ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਇਨ ਸਾਈਬਰ ਲਾ ਐਂਡ ਇਨਫਾਰਮੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿਕਿਊਰਟੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਮਿਊੂਨਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਕੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ´ਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ´ਮ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਰਸ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬੀ.ਵਾਕ (ਵੈਬ ਟੈਕਨਾਲਿਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਟੀਮੀਡੀਆ) ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਵਾਕ (ਬੈਕਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਫਾਇਨੈਂਸ਼ਿਅਲ ਸਰਵੀਸਿਸ) ਦੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਟੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਿਲਾਵਾਂ ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਵੀ.ਟੀ.ਪੀ. ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਬਿਊਟੀ ਐਂਡ ਹੇਅਰ ਡ੍ਰੈਸਿੰਗ ਟੇਲਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਫਟ ਸਕਿਲ ਕੋਰਸ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਗਲ ਵਿਚਾਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਨੂੰ ਬੈਸਟ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ‘‘ਐਕਸੀਲੈਂਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਅਤੇ ‘‘ਫਲੈਗਸ਼ਿਪ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਵਿਭਿੰਗ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਅਤੇ ਫੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੋਟ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਵੱਧ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐਡਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਡੇਸਕ ਤੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
