Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an Orientation Programme for
NSS Volunteers. The programme was
inaugurated by singing of NSS anthem. A
warm welcome was extended to all the volunteers of NSS by the Programme Officer
Mrs. Veena Arora. Dr. Anjana Bhatia,
Programme Officer motivated the students to serve the society through NSS and
also emphasized on personality development through NSS. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen oriented the volunteers and reminded them that NSS, in HMV, has had
glorious history. She encouraged the new
team to work with zeal and enthusiasm to improve the condition of
underprivileged section of the society.
The students were shown motivational documentaries for dedicating
themselves to the cause of selfless service.
Office bearer students of NSS were decorated with badges by Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. All the
volunteers pledged to dedicate hundred hours for social welfare. Ms. Harmanu, Mrs. Alka and Ms. Harmanpreet
also motivated the students for working selflessly. The programme ended with vote of thanks.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਵਾਲਟਿੰਅਰਜ਼ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਗਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਵਾਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਰਮਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੁੰ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਤਵ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. (ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਦਾ ਐਨਸੀਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਲਗਨ, ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਗਰੀਬ ਤਬਕਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸਵਾਰਥ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਡਾਕਯੂਮੇਂਟਰੀ ਵੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਗਈ। ਮੈਡਮ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਦੀ ਆਫਿਸ ਬਿਯਰਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਚ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ ਵਾਲੰਟੀਅਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ 10 ਘੰਟੇ ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਅਲਕਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
