organized a Nukkad Natak in collaboration with National Crime
Investigation Bureau. The title of
Nukkad Natak was Vehngi Vehngi.
Through the Nukkad Natak, the artists showed that today’s youth has
forgotten the importance of education.
The youth is distracting from their responsibilities. Talking about modern Shravan Kumar, they said
that modern Shravan Kumar is useless for his parents. Through Nukkad Natak, they showed the
difference between traditional and modern education system. They also showcased the struggle done by
educated youth for getting a suitable job.
The artists highlighted the importance of teacher in the life of a
student and made a satire on cheating, harassment, suicide, unemployment,
interest of going abroad etc. and
motivated the students to fight against all these evils.

Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of artists and honoured
them. The stage was conducted by Mrs.
Veena Arora. On this occasion, Dr. Nidhi
Kochhar and other teachers were also present.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਅਜੇ ਸਰੀਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਜਾਂਚ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਨੁਕੱੜ ਨਾਟਕ “ਵੈਂਗੀ-ਵੈਂਗੀ” ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦੀ ਯੁਵਾ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਤੋਂ ਦਿਨ-ਪ੍ਰਤਿਦਿਨ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਯੁਵਾ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੱਤਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਭਟਕ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸ਼੍ਰਵਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਦਾ ਸ਼੍ਰਵਨ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਬੋਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੁੱਕੜ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਪੜ੍ਹ-ਲਿੱਖ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਖ਼ੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਈ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਬੁਰਾਈਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ: ਨਕਲ, ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ, ਆਤਮ ਹੱਤਿਆ, ਬੇਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ, ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰੂਚੀ, ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਵਿਅੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੀਨਾ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਨਿਧਿ ਕੋਛੜ ਅਤੇ ਹੌਰ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
