Drishti Cell for Physically Challenged of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya in collaboration with Saksham, Punjab organization, organized a
computer workshop for visually challenged people. The duration of the workshop was two and a
half month. 17 persons participated in
the workshop and got training in computers.
During the Valedictory Function, social activist Mrs. Seema Chopra and
State Convener of Viklang Camps – Bharat VikasParishad, Mr. Rajiv Jain and his
wife were present. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the guests.
She said that this workshop is our contribution towards community service. It is the need of the hour. On this occasion, 15 persons were given HCL
sponsored Laptops at subsidized rates.
General Secretary of Saksham Punjab Mrs. DeepikaSagar explained the
relevance of computer training for visually challenged. Coordinator Dr. PremSagar gave vote of

ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਸੈਲ ਫਾਰ ਫਿਜ਼ਿਕਲੀ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ਼ਡ ਪਰਸਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਕਸ਼ਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਜ਼ੁਅਲੀ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ਼ਡ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਪਿਊਟਰ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਢਾਈ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ 17 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਢਾਈ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਨ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕਾਰਜਕਰਤਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੀਮਾ ਚੋਪੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਲਾਂਗ ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪਰਿਸ਼ਦ ਦੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਰਾਜੀਵ ਜੈਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਕਮਯੂਨਿਟੀ ਸਰਵਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦੇਣਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ 15 ਵਿਜ਼ੁਅਲੀ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ਼ਡ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬਸੀਡਾਇਜ਼ਡ ਕੀਮਤ ਤੇ ਐਚਸੀਐਲ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਪਟਾੱਪ ਉਪੱਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ। ਸਕਸ਼ਮ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਚਿਵ ਦੀਪਿਕਾ ਸਾਗਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਜ਼ੁਅਲੀ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ਼ਡ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦੀ ਮਹਤੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਡਾ. ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਾਗਰ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਸੈਲ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ਼ ਡਾ. ਆਸ਼ਮੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ।
