Practices. In HMV, students are
being taught through innovative ways.
Keeping this in mind, HMV Collegiate Sr.Sec. School organized a Creative
Writing Competition in open air. They
were being given atmosphere of Shanti Niketan.
They were being given topics on the spot for creative writing. The topics were, ‘Usage of Mobile Phone,
Student and Discipline and Student & Fashions’. They were given an hour to let their creative
juices flow on paper in any of the three languages. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said
that these days children spend a lot of time indoors which is breaking their
harmony with nature. On the other hand,
writing and reading outdoors is a great way to spark creativity. She further added that just like in
Shantiniketan where Rabindranath Tagore envisaged outdoor learning such open
air competitions would encourage learning in a natural environment in a more
fruitful and enjoyable manner. School
Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal told that connection with nature always helps
in evolution of thought process. Their
creative writings will be bound in the form of a book. 89 students have participated in the
competition. The winners were given
prizes too. On this occasion, Dr. Anjana
Bhatia, Jaspreet, Arvinder and Chitra were also present.
ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜ¦ਧਰ ਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਟੀਚਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਇਕ ਵਧੀਆ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਹੈ। ਐਚਐਮਵੀ ‘ਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਪਰਮਪਰਾ ਉਤੱਮ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਥਨ ਨੂੰਸੱਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਕਾੱਜਜਿਏਟ ਸੀ.ਸੈ. ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਨਿਕੇਤਨ ਵਰਗਾ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ´ਿਏਟਿਵ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾ ਨੂੰ´ਿਏਟਿਵ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਾ´ਿਤਿਕ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆੱਨ ਦ ਸਪੋਟ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਬਾਇਲ ਫੋਨ ਦਾ ਰੂਝਾਨ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲ ਵੱਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਰੂਝਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ´ਿਏਟਿਵ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ‘ਚ +1 ਅਤੇ +2 ਦੀਆਂ 89 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸ਼ੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਨਿਕੇਤਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ´ਿਏਟਿਵ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਨਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਖ਼ਰਾ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸੀ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਨ•ਾਂ ਅਸੀ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਨੂੰਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸਮਝਾਂਗੇ, ਓਨ•ੀਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਪਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬਣੇਗੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮਾਂ ਕਲਾਸ ‘ਚ ਵਤੀਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਂਝੇ ਰਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਨਿਕੇਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਬਿੰਦਰਨਾਥ ਟੈਗੋਰ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੇੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਇਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਰਖੰਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ´ਿਏਟਿਵ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਕੂਲ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਕਲਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਜਨਾਤਮਕਤਾ ਵੱਧਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਖੁੱਲੀ ਸੋਚ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੇਖਨ ਕਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪੇਟਿੰਗ, ਸਕਲਪਚਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਿਮਾ ਰੱਖੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਨਿਖਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਜਸਪੀਤ, ਅਰਵਿੰਦਰ, ਚਿਤਰਾ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
