Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is running
a two year Advanced Diploma in Fashion Designing under Community College course
of UGC. The students of this course are
not only evaluated by the college but also by Sector Skill Council for skill
part. Any female of any age group and
from any stream with a minimum qualification of SSC II pass can take admission
in this course. The students get
certificates from college and government bodies along with this a scholarship
of Rs.1000/- per month after the completion of the course is also given to the
students. The third batch of ADFD
successfully completed their second year (Advance Diploma level) and fourth batch
completed the first year (Diploma level) of the course. After the course, the students are working
with industries as Sampling Tailor, Asstt. Fashion Designer, etc. by the
placement assistance of the college. On this
occasion, the students were awarded certificate and scholarships by Principal Prof. Dr.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਲਿਆ, ਜਲੰਧਰ 'ਚ ਯੂ.ਜੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੀ ਕਮਯੂਨਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਏਡਵਾਂਸ ਡਿਪਲੋਮਾ ਇਨ ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨਿੰਗ ਕੋਰਸ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਸਿਰਫ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਬੰਧਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਸਕਿਲ ਕੌਂਸਿਲ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਔਰਤ ਜੋ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ + 2 ਪਾਸ ਹੋਵੇ, ਇਸ ਕੋਰਸ 'ਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਿਲਾ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਰਸ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਣ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 1000/- ਰੁਪੈ. ਪਤਿ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਦੇ ਏ.ਡੀ.ਐਫ.ਡੀ. ਕੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਬੈਚ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਦਾ ਦੂਜਾ ਲੈਵਲ ਅਤੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਬੈਚ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਲੈਵਲ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੋਰਸ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਇੰਡਸਟੀ 'ਚ ਸੈਂਪ¦ਿਗ ਟੇਲਰ, ਅਸਿ. ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ, ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ ਦੇ ਵਿਜ਼ੁਅਲ ਤੇ ਪਰਫਾਰਮਿੰਗ ਆਰਟਸ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਗੁਰਪੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਤੇ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪੈਨਲ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ, ਫੈਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਇਨਿੰਗ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਚੀਨਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ, ਕੋਰਸ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਨਵਨੀਤਾ, ਇੰਡਸਟੀ ਪਾਟਨਰ ਅਮਿਤ ਮਹਾਜਨ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਇੰਡਸਟੀ ਵਿਜਿਟ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਸਟ ਲੈਕਚਰ, ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ, ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਤੇ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੋਰਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਗਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਇੰਡਸਟੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਐਮਓਯੂ ਵੀ ਸਾਇਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
