Football team of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya added another feather in its
cap by winning GNDU Inter College
Football Championship by defeating BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar by
2-0. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen congratulated the team and the coach.
The team of HMV defeated GNDU Campus team by 5-0 score and team of S.R.
Govt. College by 17-0 score. 7 players
of the team were also selected for North Zone Inter University held at Mandi
Gobindgarh, Khanna and they got second position. These players were Jagdeep Kaur, Jaspreet
Kaur, Rajbir Kaur, Suman Rani, Harman Kaur, Manisha and Manpreet Kaur. On this occasion, HOD Physical Education
department Mrs. Sudarshan Kang, Team Coach Mr. Ram Lubhaya, Ms. Harmeet Kaur,
Ms.Sukhwinder Kaur and Ms. Baldeena D. Khokhar were also present.
ਹੰਸਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਦੀ ਫੁਟਬਾੱਲ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ ਇੰਟਰ ਕਾਲਜ ਫੁਟਬਾੱਲ ਚੈਂਪਿਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀਬੀਕੇ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਫਾੱਰ ਵੁੂਮੈਨ, ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਨੂੰ 2-0 ਤੋਂ ਹਰਾ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਕ ਬਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਅਪਨੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਾ ਲੋਹਾ ਮਣਵਾਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਾ. ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਟੀਮ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਚ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਐਚਐਮਵੀ ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ 5-0 ਤੋਂ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ. ਆਰ. ਗਵਰਨਮੈਂਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੂੰ 17-0 ਤੋਂ ਹਰਾਇਆ।ਐਚਐਮਵੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਖਿਡਾਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਯਨ ਨਾਰਥ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਇੰਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਚੈਂਪਿਅਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਕਿ ਮੰਡੀ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ, ਖੰਨਾ ਵਿਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇੰਨਾਂ ਖਿਡਾਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਰਾਜਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ, ਸੁਮਨ ਰਾਣੀ, ਹਰਮਨ ਕੌਰ, ਮਨੀਸ਼ਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਗ, ਟੀਮ ਕੋਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ ਲੁਭਾਇਆ, ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਰਮੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਲਦੀਨਾ ਡੀ. ਖੋਖਰ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
