The concluding day of 4th INSPIRE Internship Science Camp organized at Hans
Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya witnessed the presence of social activist, Padamshri
Sant Baba Balbir Singh Ji Seechewal, popularly known as Waterman of Punjab.
The event commenced with DAV Anthem and the
guests were offered a warm welcome by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. Calling Sant Seechewal as a real
messenger of God on Earth, Dr. Sareen said that he is an epitome of selfless
service to the humanity. The works
initiated by him outreach the capacities of ordinary human beings. She also motivated the students urging them
to clear their doubts as the first thing in order to enhance the efficiency of
work.
Sant Seechewal Ji in his address made the
students aware of the rising levels of pollution in water. He said that Mother Nature belongs to all and
every individual has a right to pure air, water and food. He told about different ways to reuse solid
and liquid waste products. Students were
shown videos related to right use of water and treating the natural resources
as heavenly gifts. Saplings of Indian
blackberry and gulmohar trees were planted in the premises. Students put up enthusiastic participation in
the quiz conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Kanika and Mrs. Ramandeep
Kaur. They enjoyed to their hearts the
afternoon session speckled with songs, dances and dramatics.
The valedictory session was presided by Sh.
Arvind Ghai, Secretary, DAV College Managing Committee and Prof. T.S. Benipal,
Dean College Development Council, GNDU Amritsar. Welcoming the guests Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen praised Prof. T.S. Benipal for his honest and dedicated
career as a teacher which makes him stand apart, and Sh. Arvind Ghai for his
wisdom and commitment to the cause of DAV College Managing Committee. She extolled the efforts of the organizers
for the spectacular event. She said that
the institute aimed to provide an enamel coating to preserve the gleam and
shine of the young scientists and wished them luck and success. She said that students and institution have
developed an everlasting bond of faith and affection. A galaxy of students from different schools
of Punjab hailed the Inspire Camp as a great success in their impressions. Calling it as educating and motivating the
students were all praise for the institute and the camp helped to ignite their
scientific temper.
Dr. T.S. Benipal in his presidential address
remarked that such events spark our curiosity which leads to discovery. He expatiated on the theme of conservation of
natural resources without which our survival is not possible. Embarking upon
the theme of peace, Dr. Benipal said that all nations should live in
harmony. He said that there is ample
scope of research in science and technology and successful careers awaiting the
youth.
Sh. Arvind Ghai inspired the students to gear
science into positive direction for the betterment of society.
Towards the closing the winners of Quiz team
were given prizes. First position was
won by DAV School Nawanshahar, second by Police DAV Public School and third was
won by HMV Collegiate School. Ishan
Garg, Nandini, Talvir Singh, Ridhi were declared Best Campers. Khalish Dhawan and Raghvan received prizes
for Innovative Challenges in Mathematics.
In the category of Innovative Idea writing competition prizes were given
to Sukhmanpreet, Navisha, Harshdeep, Palak, Bhavjeet and Ritika. With this the 4th Inspire
Internship Camp came to a phenomenal close.
Mrs. Rakesh Uppal, Dr. Neelam Sharma, Dr. Seema Marwaha, Mrs. Saloni
Sharma, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Meena Sharma, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Jitender
Kumar, Mr. Sumit Sharma also graced the occasion with their presence.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ 'ਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਇੰਸਪਾਇਰ ਇੰਟਰਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਦਿਨ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸੰਤ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਸੀਚੇਂਵਾਲ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
ਪੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਗਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. (ਸੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਸੰਤ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਪਤਿ ਨੀਯਤ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਬਾ ਸੀਚੇਂਵਾਲ ਜੀ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਸਮਾਜ ਤੇ ਪਕਤਿ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਆਮ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪਿੰ. ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਹਿਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਾਂਵਾਂ ਨੂੰਜਿੰਨੀ ਛੈਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਨਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ ਬਣੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਅਸੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਸ਼ੰਕਾ ਵਧੇਗੀ। ਸਾਨੂੰਹਰ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਦੀ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਤ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਕਤਿ ਸਾਰਅਿਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੁਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਪਤਿ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਸ਼ੁੱੱਧ ਹਵਾ, ਪਾਣੀ ਤੇ ਖੁਰਾਕ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾੱਲਿਡ ਤੇ ਲਿਕਵਿਡ ਵੇਸਟ ਨੂੰਅਸੀ ਖੇਤਾਂ 'ਚ ਪਯੋਗ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਪਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਈ ਵੀਡਿਓ ਵੀ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰਪਾਣੀ, ਹਵਾ ਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰਗੁਰੂ ਮੰਨ ਕੇ ਇੰਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੰਤ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜਾਮੁਨ ਤੇ ਗੁੜਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੇੜ ਵੀ ਲਗਾਏ।
ਸਵੇਰ ਦੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 'ਚ ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਡਾ. ਕਨਿਕਾ ਤੇ ਰਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕਵਿਜ਼ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ-ਚੜ• ਕੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ।
ਦੋਪਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 'ਚ ਪਤਿਭਾਗੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੀਤ, ਗਰੁਪ ਡਾਂਸ, ਸੋਲੋ ਡਾਂਸ ਤੇ ਸਕਿਟ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਪੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਵੈਲੀਡਿਕਟਰੀ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 'ਚ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਘਈ ਤੇ ਜੀਐਨਡੀਯੂ, ਅੰਮਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਡਿਵੇਲਪਮੇਂਟ ਕਾਉਂਸਿਲ ਪੋ. ਟੀ.ਐਸ. ਬੇਨੀਪਾਲ ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੋਏ। ਪਿੰ. ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇੰਸਪਾਇਰ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਇਹ ਲਗਾਵ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਮੁਖ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਰਿਸਰਚ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਹਰਪੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰਕੈਂਪ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਨਾਲਾੱਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਨ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਰੱਖੇ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਪੋ. ਬੇਨੀਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਤੇ ਟੇਕਨਾਲਾੱਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਪੋਮੋਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪੈਸਾ ਖਰਚ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰਬੇਹਤਰੀਨ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਪਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਣੀ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਹੈ। ਨੇਚਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰਸਮਝਨ ਦੀ ਜਿਗਿਆਸਾ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰਹੈ। ਸਾਨੂੰਆਪਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰਖਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਵਿਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਨਵਾਂਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਡੀਏਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੈਨੇਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸੀ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਘਈ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਬੰਧਨ ਨੂੰਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਰਿਸਰਚ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੋਤਸਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਮਾਂ ਪਬੰਧਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਬੈਸਟ ਕੈਂਪਰ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਨੰਦਿਨੀ ਸੈਣੀ (ਬਿਟਿਸ਼ ਅੋਲਵਿਯਾ ਸਕੂਲ), ਪਮਿਤਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ (ਰਿਆਨ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਕੂਲ), ਇਸ਼ਾਨ ਗਰਗ (ਡੀਏਵੀ ਸਕੂਲ «ਧਿਆਣਾ), ਤਨਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਡੀਏਵੀ ਪੱਖੋਵਾਲ) ਤੇ ਰਿੱਧਿ (ਐਮਜੀਐਨ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ) ਨੂੰਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ ਇਨ ਮੈਥਸ ਦਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਸੰਤ ਦਾਸ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਖਲਿਸ਼ ਧਵਨ ਤੇ ਰਾਘਵਨ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ ਨੂੰਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਆਇਡਿਆ ਰਾਇਟਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ 'ਚ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਗਤ ਵਰਗ 'ਚ ਸੁਖਮਨਪੀਤ ਨੂੰਪਹਿਲਾ, ਨਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰਦੂਜਾ ਤੇ ਹਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਨੂੰਤੀਜ਼ਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਗਰੁਪ ਵਰਗ 'ਚ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਪੱਖੋਵਾਲ ਨੂੰਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਸੇਨੇਟਰੀ ਬਟਾਲਾ ਨੂੰਦੂਜਾ ਇਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਹਰਪੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
