Collegiate Sr.Sec. School organized a Career
Advancement Lecture Series for
the students. On the concluding day, the
resource person was Dr. Seema Khanna, Associate Prof. in Commerce. She gave career guidance to commerce
students. Mrs. Meenakshi Syal,
Coordinator, welcomed Dr. Seema Khanna.
She encouraged the students and assured them to have a bright future in
this stream. Dr. Seema Khanna told them
about various professional courses like Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary
and Cost Accountant. She also added to
the knowledge of the students about various channels through which they can
apply for the courses. She laid emphasis
on the key points like dedication, hard work and determination which will help
the students to reach their goal in life.
This lecture not only enhanced the knowledge of the students but also
proved out as an eye opener for them by removing their doubts and queries about
commerce field. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of faculty and said that such type
of counselling and awareness is required for the advancement of career of the
students.
ਐਚ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ ਕਾੱਲਜਿਏਟ ਸੀ. ਸੈ. ਸਕੂਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਏਡਵਾਂਸਮੇਂਟ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਲੈਕਚਰ ਸੀਰੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਦਿਨ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਖੰਨਾ, ਏਸੋਸਿਏਟ ਪੋਫੇਸਰ ਇਨ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਬਤੌਰ ਰਿਸੋਰਸ ਪਰਸਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਕਰਿਅਰ ਗਾਇਡੇਂਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਮੀਨਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਖੰਨਾ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡਾ. ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਪੋਫੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੋਰਸ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੀ.ਏ, ਕੰਪਨੀ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਸਟ ਅਕਾਉਂਟੇਂਟ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ 'ਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਿਨ•ਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਹ ਇਨ•ਾਂ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ 'ਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਲੈ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ, ਨਿਸ਼ਠਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੜਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਟੀਚੇ ਨੂੰਪਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲੈਕਚਰ 'ਚ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ 'ਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ 'ਚ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਂਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ 'ਚ ਵੀ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਤੀ ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤਰ•ਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਾਉਂਸਲਿਂਗ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ।
