IPR Cell of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya
organized one day DST Sponsored seminar on Intellectual Property Rights under
able guidance of Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Dr. Harsh Manchanda, Associate
Professor in B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar was the
resource person. He made faculty and students of science and commerce aware
about the increasing significance of intangible assets in the global economy.
He laid stress on the fact that Intellectual Property has now gained more focus
in all types of educational institutions and
this has become important to promote IPR and licensing to foster
innovation and creativity. He gave demo of filing patent application and
explained the process of GI (Geographical Indication), Logo and Tagline. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ekta Khosla, Incharge IPR Cell presented formal vote of thanks. Stage
was conducted by Dr. (Mrs.) Anjana Bhatia.
