The third
inspiring day of INSPIRE Internship Camp
at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya began with a huge round of applause by the
participating students for the institute.
Hosting the stage Mrs. Rakesh Uppal welcomed and introduced the chief
guest Mrs. Gurpreet Kaur, Distt. Education Officer Secondary and the keynote
speaker Dr. Ashish Arora, Associate
Prof. I.K. Gujral Punjab
Technical University
The students
were delighted to listen to Dr. Ashish Arora who discussed the contribution of
Indians in the field of Mathematics.
Narrating the life experiences of famous Indian scientists he said that
Indians have done outstanding work in the area.
He emphasized on the life of Srinivasa Iyengar Ramanujan and his book
‘Man who knew Infinity’. The government

Proceeding
towards the second session, students were excited to see the demonstrations by
Jaswinder Singh who is recipient of ‘Shiksha Ratna Award’ and also famous for
his mobile science van. He gave
demonstrations on Optics, Wave Motion, Mechanics, Capillary Action and gave
easy tips to memorize mathematical formulas.
The pre dinner
session was chaired by Dr. Rajeev Kumar from Deptt. of Chemistry, DAV College
Students also
performed practicals in the laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Biology,
Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Mrs.
Rakesh Uppal, Dr. Neelam Sharma, Dr. Seema Marwaha, Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Mr.
Harpreet Singh, Dr. Meena Sharma, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Jitender Kumar, Mr.
Sumit Sharma also graced the occasion with their presence.
ਹੰਸ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮਹਾਂਵਿਦਿਆਲਾ 'ਚ ਇੰਸਪਾਇਰ ਇੰਟਰਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦਾ ਤੀਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਨ ਰੋਮਾਂਚ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਬਤੌਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਆਫਿਸਰ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਗੁਰਪੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕੀ-ਨੋਟ ਸਪੀਕਰ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਆਈ.ਕੇ.ਜੀ. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਗਣਿਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਏਸੋਸਿਏਟ ਪੋਫੇਸਰ ਡਾ. ਆਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਤੀਜ਼ੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਸ਼ਮਾ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਫਿਜਿਕਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਉੱਪਲ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਪੋ. ਡਾ. (ਸੀਮਤੀ) ਅਜੈ ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਰਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਬਣਾਈ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਨੂੰਪੂਰੀ ਦਿੜਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰਕਲਾਤਮਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਡੀਈਓ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਗੁਰਪੀਤ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤਿ ਡਾ. ਏ.ਪੀ.ਜੇ. ਅਬਦੁਲ ਕਲਾਮ ਦੀ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਕਿਤਾਬ ‘ਵੱਟ ਕੈਨ ਆਈ ਗਿਵ' ਤੇ ਫੋਕਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਪਾਪਤੀ 'ਚ ਦਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਿਅਰ, ਵਿਅਕਤੀਗਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਤੇ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਉਰਜ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਸਾਨੂੰਮੂਲਭੂਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਊਚਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰਛੂਹ ਸਕੀਏ।
ਕੀਨੋਟ ਸਪੀਚ 'ਚ ਡਾ. ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ‘ਗਣਿਤ 'ਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ' ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਨਿਵਾਸ ਅਯੰਗਰ ਰਾਮਾਨੁਜਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਰਾਮਾਨੁਜਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿਖੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ‘ਮੈਨ ਹੂ ਨਿਯੂ ਇਨਫਿਨਿਟੀ' ਤੇ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਗਣਿਤ-ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰੀ ਤੇ ਸਟਾਂਪ ਵੀ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਿੰ. ਡਾ. ਸਰੀਨ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਗਣਿਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਮੁਖੀ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਨੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਰਤਨਅਵਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੋਬਾਇਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਲੈਬ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਸਿੱਧ ਜਸਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਟਿਕਸ, ਵੇਵ ਮੋਸ਼ਨ, ਮਿਕੈਨਿਕਸ, ਕੈਪਿਲੇਰੀ ਏਕਸ਼ਨ, ਇਲੇਕਟੋਸਟੈਟਿਸਟਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟਿਸਿਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪਯੋਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਗਣਿਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਫਾਰਮੁਲਾ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਟਿਕ ਦੱਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਵੇਂ ਫਾਰਮੂਲੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ। ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰਆਪਣੀ ਮੋਬਾਇਲ ਵੈਨ ਦੇ ਉਪਕਰਣ ਪਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਪੀ ਡਿਨਰ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 'ਚ ਡੀਏਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਜ¦ਧਰ ਦੇ ਰਸਾਇਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜੀਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੋਏ। ਜਿਸਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ‘ਸਾਇੰਸ 'ਚ ਕਰਿਅਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ' ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 'ਚ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਡਾ. ਮੀਨਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਹਰਪੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪਯੋਗਸ਼ਾਲਾਵਾਂ 'ਚ ਕੈਮਿਸਟੀ, ਫਿਜਿਕਸ, ਬਾਇਓਲਾੱਜੀ, ਬਾਇਓਟੈਕ ਤੇ ਬਾਇਓ ਇਨਫਰਮੈਟਿਕਸ ਦੇ ਪਯੋਗ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਸੀਮਤੀ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਉਪੱਲ, ਡਾ. ਨੀਲਮ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਸੀਮਾ ਮਰਵਾਹਾ, ਡਾ. ਮੀਨਾ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸੀਮਤੀ ਸਲੋਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਡਾ. ਅੰਜਨਾ ਭਾਟਿਆ, ਡਾ. ਜਤਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੀ ਸੁਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
