Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar celebrated the
highly acclaimed victory of Indian Army on Kargil Vijay Diwas. The students

A documentary was displayed on the occasion to instill
the sense of patriotism and a sense of gratitude towards these real heroes of
our nation. Students expressed their feelings for army and its valiance through
self composed poems and patriotic songs.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen saluted and congratulated all the brave
hearts on this gigantic victory. She motivated the students to actively
participate in the defence services and be a more worthy child of the nation.
Students took oath to serve the nation whole-heartedly.
NCC Cadets and NSS volunteers attended Kargil Talk Show held at Doordarshan
Kendra, Jalandhar. The Talk Show spoke on the achievements of Kargil War, Stirring nationalist feelings. It fascinated
and inspired the students. They also cleared their doubts by asking various
questions.
Mrs. Nita Malik (Head, Pol. Sci Deptt), Mrs. Purnima
(Incharge, NCC), Mrs. Alka, Mrs. Protima (Head, Deptt. of History) graced the
occasion with their presence. The event concluded with National Anthem.
