Under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and
school Coordinator Mrs Meenakshi Sayal, a one day Trip was Organized to Golden Temple , Partition Museum and
Haveli for Students of SSC+I and SSC+2. The trip began with a lot of enthusiasm and vigour.
Upon reaching the temple which is spiritually the most
significant shrine of Sikhism, students were filled with sublime divinity. Then they all made a clockwise
circumambulation around the pool before entering the sanctum and
received blessings from "Gur
Partap Suraj Parkash Granth" and later had langar. A Tirath to the Golden
Temple has the efficacy of all 68 Tiraths combined. Then they visited partition
museum where they encountered most
defining event in the history of the subcontinent, the largest mass migration
and stories of hundreds of
Partition-affected families. The
last destination was Virasat Haveli
which displayed old Punjabi traditional way of living with ancient styles where
students felt connected to the roots of Punjab .The trip was in all spiritual,
educational and blissful feeling package for students. The Students were
escorted by Ms. Avantika Randev and Ms. Amarjeet Kaur.
